About the Course

The M.Tech Computer Science 2-year PG course affiliated to Osmania University was started in the year 2010 with an intake of 18 students. Admissions to the course are done on the basis of GATE or PGECET. The students are provided separate facilities for the course through the support of well qualified faculty, staff and to date infrastructural facilities both computing and academic.

The students are provided placement support through the college placement cell for on campus recruitment by IT major companies. The first outgoing batch recorded a pass percentage of 100% and the student intake has been increased to its current strength of 24 since 2012.

Computer centre of M.Tech is equipped with 2 laboratories catering to the needs of the course. The labs are configured with software’s to practice programs related to Machine learning, Advanced Data Structures, UML, Advanced Algorithms, Project and Miniprojects.

For assisting students to develop projects, a separate lab configured with licensed software like MATLab, Qualnet and open sources like NS-2, NS-3, Java, Python and anaconda, etc. are made available.

The Dissertations are submitted to the university after approving it with a purchased licensed plagiarism checker “Drillbit”. The students are facilitated with free plagiarism check to publish the implemented research work of the project at reputed publisher.
